Starry Night
Each click
getting noticed and every intention getting prejudged, so are we programming our
next move or is it getting programmed for us? This particularly doesn’t
indicate towards an Orwellian state but definitely to the state of affair
that’s affecting our moods and actions as such.
Being lazy
isn’t a choice anymore, it’s in the air and on-air as well. From the Netflix
culture to the fast food one, we’re on the go but heading towards what? If we sit
back and just explore our digital devices more, we'd find hints like a treasure
hunt. There’s a remote island where we’ve got to reach so even with the vessel
at hand, why is it that we're lost at sea?
Probably,
would’ve been the starry night we’d been navigating through but unlike the real
sky, it was Van Gogh's painting we’d been cruising in loop. Now the time is to
ditch the old sextant and get the GPS receiver. Just a hint for the
installation though- to check if it is, in fact, the painting “Starry Night” or are
we just simply drunk to whatever our algorithmic bartender is presenting us.
Nice...it's a lucid description of the world we live in.
